How we understand collaboration

Types of collaboration
Idealium Collabs offers three ways to collaborate. You can apply for one or more (they are compatible with one another).
1) Starter Collab — Patterns designed by creators
We publish projects created by program collaborators on the Pattern Blog. Each pattern includes visible credit: “Designed by [Nombre] for Idealium”.
- Idealium edits, structures, and publishes the pattern.
- The pattern recommends and links to the Idealium materials used in the project.
- Ideal if you enjoy designing and explaining each step clearly.
How do we select a Starter project?
Before any materials are shipped or purchased, we review a brief proposal to ensure it fits the brand and that the design is feasible.
- Project idea + visual references (moodboard).
- Proposed Idealium materials and colors.
- Level, techniques, and approximate measurements.
- Estimated consumption (approx.) and schedule.
2) Pro Collab — Kit and capsule collection design
Highly selective collaborations to develop official Idealium kits (materials + pattern). In some cases, a Pro collaboration may evolve into a capsule collection.
- Idealium defines the kit composition, presentation, and sales.
- We look for designs with excellent instructions and an aesthetic that strongly aligns with the brand.
- Recommended for profiles with experience and the ability to deliver a “ready-to-sell” design.
3) Collab Partner — Affiliate promotion and material recommendations
If you enjoy recommending materials and sharing projects on your channels, you can collaborate as a Partner. This format is designed for endorsers who want to promote Idealium through affiliate links.
- Promotion of Idealium materials on social media, blogs, newsletters, or YouTube.
- Compatible with Collab Starter and Collab Pro.
- After reviewing your application, we will let you know the next step to activate the collaboration.
Special terms on materials
Approved profiles within Idealium Collabs can access special terms for purchasing Idealium materials. These terms are linked to program activity (for example, the regular delivery and publication of patterns or active collaborations). Details are shared individually after approval.
What we look for in an Idealium profile
- Current, polished, and coherent style.
- Ability to explain clearly (step by step, materials, measurements).
- Commitment to reasonable deadlines and smooth communication.
- Genuine interest in creating with Idealium materials.
