Measurements for hats
To knit a hat in the round, start a circle and work in the round, increasing the number of centimeters in the "Upper Section Increasing" column. Then, work another section without increasing the number of centimeters indicated in the "Straight Section Without Increases" column.

Pattern for a basic hat knitted in the round
a) Increasing section
We make a magic circle. We knit 6 stitches (single stitch throughout the pattern).
Round 1: knit all increases (12 stitches)
Row 2: knit 1 stitch, increase 1 stitch … and repeat the sequence (ending with 18 stitches).
Round 3: knit 2 stitches, increase 1 … and repeat the sequence (24).
Round 4: knit 3 stitches, increase 1 … and repeat the sequence (30 stitches).
We continue increasing the sequence in each round: X+1 stitches, increase .
In each round we finish with 6 more points than in the previous round.
b) Straight section
Once we have reached the desired centimeters of the section with increase (according to the size to be knitted), we begin to knit a straight section, without increasing.
If in the last round of the previous section we have finished with N points , we will do the following rounds all with N single crochets .

Muchas gracias por el artículo! Me ha sido muy útil para tejer un gorro que voy a regalar. Está muy bien explicado, seguiré el blog en el futuro.
