Structure
The shawl is crocheted from the bottom point to the ends, increasing on both sides in each row. The lace pattern is formed with blocks of 3 double crochet stitches and chains in the center.

Step-by-step pattern
- Start: Magic ring. Chain 3 (counts as 1 dc), 2 dc into the ring, chain 2 , 3 dc into the ring. Loosely close the ring and turn.
- Round 2: 3 ch (=1 dc), 2 dc in the first stitch (inc). 1 ch , 3 dc in the center space of 2 ch, 1 ch . 3 dc in the last stitch . Turn.
- Round 3: Ch 3, 2 dc in the first stitch . Repeat (ch 1, 3 dc) in each ch 1 space to the center. In the center, work 3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc . Continue with (ch 1, 3 dc) to the end; finish with ch 1, 3 dc in the last stitch . Turn.
- Repetition: Repeat Round 3 until you reach the desired size (approx. 150–160 cm long).
Final border (optional)
For a professional finish, work 1 round of single crochet around the entire edge. At the corners (point and top center), work 3 single crochet together to maintain the shape. For a more decorative finish, work 1 single crochet, 1 chain stitch, 1 single crochet in each space.
Tips
- Use a needle slightly larger than indicated on the label to encourage the needle to fall out.
- Lock with gentle steam at the end to open the cutout and set the shape.
