Recommended material

Structure
The shawl is worked from the bottom edge to the ends, increasing on both sides with each row. The lace is formed with 3-dc blocks and chains in the center.

Step-by-step pattern
- Start: Magic ring. Crochet 3 ch (counts as 1 dc), 2 dc inside the ring, 2 ch , 3 dc inside the ring. Close the ring slightly and turn.
- Round 2: 3 ch (=1 dc), 2 dc in the first stitch (inc). 1 ch , 3 dc inside the central 2-ch gap, 1 ch . 3 dc in the last stitch . Turn.
- Row 3: Ch 3, 2 dc in the first stitch . Repeat (ch 1, 3 dc) in each ch-1 space to the center. In the center, work 3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc . Continue with (ch 1, 3 dc) to the end; finish with ch 1, 3 dc in the last stitch . Turn.
- Repeat: Repeat Round 3 until you reach the desired size (approx. 150–160 cm long).

Final edge (optional)
For a professional finish, crochet 1 round of sc all the way around. At the corners (point and top center), work 3 sc together to maintain the shape. For a more decorative finish, crochet 1 sc, ch 1, 1 sc in each gap.
