Materials

Tissue sample
In garter stitch (knit every row): 22 stitches × 38 rows = 10 × 10 cm .
If your sample doesn't match, adjust the tension (knit looser or tighter) or change the needle size.

Adult scarf with balanced proportions: 22 cm wide × 180 cm long . It is knitted in one piece, starting from one of the short ends.

Adjust the length to your liking: a longer scarf will allow you to wrap it twice around your neck.
Step-by-step pattern
Knitted flat in garter stitch (all rows knit).
1. Cast on 46 stitches with color A.
2. Knit in garter stitch for 20 cm.
3. Change to color B and continue 25 cm.
4. Change to color C and knit another 25 cm.
5. Repeat the sequence A–B–C until you reach a total length of 180 cm.
6. Close the stitches loosely.
If you prefer thin stripes, change color every 6–8 rounds.

Lock and care
