Step-by-step pattern

1. Crown

(Knit in a spiral, without closing each round)

• Magic ring.
• V1: 6 sc.
• V2: 2 sc in each stitch (12).
• V3: 1 sc, 1 inc repeat (18).
• V4: 2 sc, 1 inc (24).
• V5: 3 sc, 1 inc (30).
• Continue increasing following the pattern ( 1 more sc between increases per round ) until you reach:
  • 17 cm diameter (female)
  • 18.5 cm diameter (male)

👉 If you prefer a more rounded shape, stop 0.5–1 cm before.

2. Body (straight part)

• Knit 1 round taking only the back loop to mark the transition.
• Then work in hdc (or sc if you prefer a denser texture), without increasing, until you reach:
  • 8–9 cm tall (female)
  • 9–10 cm tall (male)

3. Wing

Return to knitting in the round and begin to increase:

👉 To reinforce the edge:
