Material
- 3 Fluffy skeins
- Knitting needles no. 4
- wool needle
- 6 buttons
Pattern
Moss stitch: Knit all rows.
The first stitch is slipped without knitting (except in the first row after casting on, which is knitted).
The number of points obtained in the row is indicated in parentheses at each step.
BODY
The instructions are accompanied by diagram 1.
- Cast on 22 stitches (or according to tension, to obtain 24 cm of fabric)
- Knit in garter stitch until you reach 16 cm.
- To make the armhole, in the next row: slip the first stitch purlwise, bind off 2 stitches, knit the rest of the row in garter stitch (20 sts)
- In the next row (row C), we repeat the steps of the previous row: slip the first stitch, close 2 stitches, knit the rest of the row in garter stitch (18 stitches).
- We knit in garter stitch until we obtain 9.5 cm.
- To open the neck, we close the 8 center stitches as follows: knit 5 stitches, close 8 stitches, knit the remaining 5 stitches.
- From now on, we will continue knitting only the section of the 5 stitches that remain at the tip of the needle. We leave the 5 stitches at the other end at the end of the needle without doing anything with them until step L. Knit 5 cm in garter stitch.
- Knit 1 row inwards (towards the neck) and when you reach the end, cast on 4 stitches (9p).
- Knit 9.5 cm to reach the front armhole.
- Knit one row towards the outside of the jacket and cast on 2 stitches for the armhole (11 sts). Knit 16 cm.
- Closing the points.
- We pick up the stitches we set aside in step G. Knit 5 cm (5 sts).
- Repeat step H.
- Knit 9.5 cm until you reach the armhole, but at this point we start making the buttonholes.
Distance between eyelets: The first eyelet is made at 3 cm. From the first eyelet, the following ones are made every 4 cm. We will obtain 6 eyelets in total. In this 9.5 cm section, we will have made 2 eyelets. See diagram 2.
How to make a buttonhole: From the inner edge, knit 2 stitches, then for the buttonhole, knit 2 stitches together, cast on a new stitch and continue knitting the row. The total number of stitches in the row does not change. - Repeat step J but add the buttonholes every 4 cm.
- Closing the points.

SLEEVES (X2)
1. Pick up stitches for the sleeves between the armholes, from point A (see diagram 3) to point B.
To pick up stitches, insert the needle into point A, make a loop on the needle, bring the needle out towards you; you will find a stitch on the needle. Pick up one stitch at each loop until you reach point B.
2. Section with decreases. Knit in garter stitch for 12 cm, making a decrease row every 4 cm. In total, we will make 3 decrease rows (see diagram 3).
Decrease rows: Slip the first stitch purlwise, knit 2 stitches together, continue knitting each stitch until the last 3 stitches remain; knit 2 stitches together, knit the last stitch normally.
3. Straight section. Knit 8 cm in garter stitch. Cast off.

HOOD
- We pick up the stitches around the neck, from point A to point B (see diagram 4).
- Knit 20 cm in moss stitch.
- Closing the points.
- Fold the fabric at point C (see diagram 4) to join corners D and E and form the hood. Sew.

SEWING
Sew the sides of the jacket and sleeves.
Sew the buttons on the opposite side of the buttonholes.
And that's it!
