Manufacturing and finishing
The shoulders are sewn. The sleeves are sewn to the body of the jacket, fitting them into the armholes. Next, sew the sides of the jacket from the bottom of the garment to the armhole, and continue the sleeve seam from the armhole to the cuff.
Pick up the stitches on the left front piece from the bottom of the garment to the center of the back neckline. Work in garter stitch for 18 rows and cast off all stitches. Pick up the stitches on the right front piece in the same way and work the buttonholes on row 11 of the shaped strip: yarn over, 2 PK. Work 3 buttonholes in this way: the first 3 cm from the bottom edge of the jacket and the other two 10 cm apart.
Continue knitting in garter stitch until you have completed 18 rows and cast off all stitches. Sew the two strips to the center of the back neckline.
Finally, sew on 3 wooden buttons.
💡 Tips
- If you want to adapt to other sizes, adjust the number of balls of Ruby Super Cotton and recalculate the sample.
- To highlight the openwork pattern, block the garment when finished.
